Join us as we examine issues, such as pornography and the sexualization of our culture and how they relate to human trafficking, while exploring solutions for the growing trend.

This series is designed to provided continuing education to mental health professionals by providing insights and valuable tools to assist helpers in a clinical environment.

Part One takes a look at the problem of sex trafficking and child exploitation.

In this continuing education series we will:

Understand the devastating impact of human trafficking in the United States and Alaska

Explore the impact of pornography on our sexualized culture and the sex trade

Discuss the role that shame plays in the lives of victims 

Consider the impact that shame plays in the lives of consumers

Part Two takes a look at solutions for sex trafficking and child exploitation.

In this continuing education series we will:

Expand awareness of child lures and how traffickers and consumers access children

Explore how relational brokenness impacts both victim and consumer

Discuss consumer demand and effective methods on reduction

Learn how to prevent victimization and support those in recovery

Four (4) continuing education credits are available for Part One and Part Two of this series, for a total of 8CE.
